Scope. Stop Predatory Lending (“we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (the “Platform”), how we use and disclose it, and your related privacy rights. It applies to all visitors of our Platform. The Platform is intended only for individuals age 18 or older who are located in the United States.
Notice at Collection. The only information we collect through the Platform comes from Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use our site. This may include pages visited, time on site, browser and device type, and general location derived from IP address. We use this information to improve the user experience and better target our outreach to people interested in our mission. We do not otherwise collect personal information directly from visitors. Sensitive Information. Some information described above may qualify as “sensitive personal information” under your state’s law. Where required, we obtain consent before collecting or processing it, and limit its use to what is necessary. We do not sell or share sensitive information about residents of states that restrict such sales or sharing, including Maryland. California residents may direct us to limit our use of sensitive personal information as described under “Your Privacy Rights” below.
Children Under 18. The Platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 and comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Cookies and Electronic Communications. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies, and your browser lets you accept, reject, or delete them at any time; note that blocking cookies may affect site functionality and ad targeting, and your choices are browser- and device-specific and may reset if you clear your cache. We use Google Analytics to understand Platform usage; you can opt out of Google Analytics or Google Analytics for Display Advertising. Even after opting out of targeted advertising, you will still see general online advertising.
Your Privacy Rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding the personal information we maintain about you:

Nevada Residents – you may submit a verified request directing us not to sell certain personal information, as defined under Nevada law.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18, or process their information for targeted advertising.
An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of your permission. We may verify your identity before processing any request and will respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days, with notice). Submit requests to NoPredatoryLenders@gmail.com. If we deny your request or appeal, we will explain why in writing within 45 days and, on denial of an appeal, tell you how to file a complaint with your state Attorney General.
California residents may also ask, once per year, whether we’ve shared their personal information with third parties for direct marketing, by contacting NoPredatoryLenders@gmail.com.
